Koinonia does not promote

  • Discussions of any controversial topics

  • Discussions, which may emphasize doctrinal differences between the various participating Christian congregations

  • Relationships aimed at marriage

  • Social activities that do not encourage the Christian growth of participants

  • Proselytizing among participating groups

  • Do I need to leave the congregation where I am in order to participate in Koinonia?
Koinonia encourages each Christian to remain in their own congregation, as it is an initiative that aims to support Christians in any and all congregations, configuring itself as an interdenominational initiative to support local congregations.
  • Does Koinonia aim to clarify and discuss controversial issues in the Christian environment (divorce, second marriage, female leadership, abortion, homosexuality, etc)?
No, differing views on doctrinal issues that are not directly linked to Christ's redemptive work on the cross are not the focus of discussion in Koinonia. Questions of this type will be referred to the authorities established in each brother's home congregations.
  • Does Kononia promote romantic relationships and/or marriages?
Koinonia is focused on rescuing and building people for Christ, as well as fostering healthy friendships in the Body of Christ, but this focus has nothing to do with loving relationships.
  • Can I participate in Koinonia even if I am not a Christian?
Koinonia is intended for Christian audiences only. However, if anyone who is not a Christian wants to hear about what it means to be a Christian, they are most welcome.
  • Does Koinonia aim to clarify and discuss doctrinal issues that are different for different Christian congregations?
No, differing views on doctrinal issues that are not directly linked to Christ's redemptive work on the cross are not the focus of discussion in Koinonia. Questions of this type will be referred to the authorities established in each brother's home congregations.
  • Do I need to be Catholic or Protestant to participate in Koinonia?
Koinonia is centered around the redemptive work of Christ Jesus, so all Christians are welcome, whether Catholic or Protestant.
